Winter at the Taoist Sanctuary is bringing workshops that will wow you! Qi Gong Master Ken Cohen is back in San Diego, and his workshop offerings include Yi Quan, Eight Postures of Taijiquan, Five Animal Frolics, and a special workshop with  Curandera Grace Sesma on Taoist and MesoAmerican health and spirituality. Bill and I will continue our monthly workshops with offerings on the details and principles of Taijiquan. Master Jan Silberstorff is coming in January to teach his popular seminar on Chen style Taijiquan. What a fantastic winter of opportunity!

Bill and I will be starting another teacher training program in January 2016. This program will offer 2 years of instruction in teaching methods and material for teacher certification in Taijiquan and Qi Gong. Please let Bill or me know of your interest.

Highlights will include the international Chen style taijiquan tournament in Chenjiagou, Taoist studies with Ren Farong at the monastery in Louguantai, and a visit to the Muslim quarter in Xian. Bill I will coordinate travels for students from the US. Please let us know of your interest. Jan will be here in January and will do a short information session on this trip during his seminar. Registration for this trip will start in March.

The Sanctuary will be closed for the holidays starting the evening of December 24th, and regular classes will resume on Saturday January 2nd. As always, our annual Beach Flow will take place on New Year’s Day, January 01, at 9am at Sunset Park on Coronado Island, at the end of Ocean Boulevard. All are welcome, and the flow will be followed by black eyed peas and cornbread at our house, to ring in the new year the southern way!

To all our students, friends, amilies and followers – have a wonderful holiday season!
