Practical Anatomy is back again!

May 25, 2014 Allison Helm

It’s that time again! Time to crack open the anatomy books and join me for some learning and edification! In the 2nd class in the Practical Anatomy series, we will focus on the hip and leg muscles. Learn why speed skaters have such huge butts! Learn why power weight lifters have bulging quads! Most importantly, learn how you can start using these muscles to make your taijiquan and qi gong more powerful and beneficial.

I’ll teach you about the very important psoas muscle and why relaxing it is key to hip movement. I’ll teach you about your hamstrings and quads, and how to use these muscles together to strengthen your dynamic stance. This workshop will be taught in the same spirit as the first one – some lecture, some palpation, and some practical application. Anyone is welcome – it’s not necessary to have taken the 1st seminar.

Save the Date! June 14th, 2014 from 1p – 3p.
Cost: $35

Lock in your spot in our shop – space will be limited so that everyone gets one on one attention.
