Tuina for Respiratory Disorders
This 5 day seminar teaches Tuina methods and their application to respiratory disorders. Western anatomy, Chinese medical theory, and the pathology of common respiratory disorders will be covered.

Tuina for Male and Female Reproductive Disorders
This 5 day seminar will teach the theory and treatment methods of male and female reproductive disorders. Topics covered will include impotence, prostatitis, infertility, PMS, painful menstruation, amenorrhea, and menopause.
Herbal formulas and Qi Gong exercises will also be included.

Tuina Methods of Dispersion and Tonification
This workshop focuses on learning the major Tuina methods of dispersion and tonification. Oscillating, pressure, friction, and passive joint movement techniques will be included. Emphasis will be upon understanding how the techniques can be used and how to integrate them into other styles of bodywork.

Qi Gong Therapeutics and Advanced Methods of Tuina
This four day class will focus on the development of Qi energy and sensitivity for use in the external emission of Qi for healing and balancing purposes. It will also incorporate the use of Tuina methods for internal organ disharmonies. These methods will include massage, acupoint selection and traditional Chinese medical assessment.
The class will provide a clear method for feeling and working with the vital force known as Qi, and will be especially helpful for people who are concerned about their ability to sense and direct Qi. The class will include Taoist meditation and Qi Gong exercises for strengthening the flow of Qi in the practitioner's body, methods for developing direct perception of the flow of Qi, energy balancing protocols for maximizing health and healing of the body, and healing sounds for strengthening the function of the major organs.

Tuina Bodywork for Organ Tonification
This seminar teaches a full body protocol for tonifying organ deficiency utilizing Tuina methods, acupoints, and focused breathing. Emphasis is on lungs, spleen and kidneys. Qi Gong exercises and Traditional Chinese Medical theory will be included.

Tuina for Sports Injuries
This seminar will focus on the treatment and management of sports related injuries to the shoulder, elbow, hip and knee. Assessment through palpation and questioning and the use of medicinal oils in treating injuries will be included. Qi Gong exercises for increasing qi flow to the hands and strengthening the whole body will also be taught.

Bill Helm, O.B.T., A.O.B.T.A. Certified Instructor, Taoist Priest.
Bill Helm has been studying martial and healing arts since 1965. He specializes in Tuina, Taijiquan, Qi Gong and Herbal Medicine.
Bill has studied in China at the Shanghai College of Medicine and the Beijing Olympic Training Center, and in the United States with Taoist Master Share K. Lew and Dr. Yu Da Fang. Bill has taught Tuina since 1978. He is the Dean of Allied Arts at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine and Director of the Taoist Sanctuary of San Diego. Bill also teaches classes at Mueller College of Massage and IPSB.
