Adapting this protocol
- Steps #1 - 3 are for general relaxation. They function to help the person transition into their body.
- Steps #4 - 6, 11, 15 (upper back), 16 (Bl 13 to 15), 17 (over the upper back area) are specific for the lungs and circulatory system. If there is a shortness of breath, cough, weak voice, ease of perspiration and a white pallor or tone to the face, this sequence can be emphasized.
- Steps #7, 8, 12, 15 (middle back), 16 (Bl 18 to 21), 17 (over the midback area) are specific for the stomach and digestive system. If there is indigestion, bloating, flatulence, sluggish digestion, fatigue, loose stools and general weaknes, this sequence can be emphasized.
- Steps #9, 10, 12, 14, 15 (low back), 16 (Bl 23 to 25), 17 (over the kidneys) are specific for the kidneys and reproductive system. If there is fatigue, low sex drive or function, urinary difficulties, low back and lower body pain and weakness, this sequence can be emphasized.
