Balancing the Three Treasures: Qi Gong for Health and Long Life with Ken Cohen
295.00

April 1-2, 2017
10-1pm, 3-5pm each day

What is the real meaning of Fan Lao Huan Tong, “Reverse Aging, Return to Youthfulness”? In China both Taoists and doctors have long been preoccupied with the search for longevity, knowing through life experience that human beings shorten their lives because of stress and disconnection from the healing forces of nature. China’s ancient mountain sages developed powerful qigong meditations and gentle exercises designed to restore balance to the Three Treasures: jing (endocrine and reproductive essence), qi (breath energy), and shen (spirit). In this intensive training, you will learn the following healing practices: The Complete Eight Brocades; Spontaneous Movement Qigong (Zi Fa Gong) to create flow and energy; Basic Taiji Ruler to build a reservoir of healing energy; Taoist Standing and Walking Meditation; How to Absorb Qi from Sky, Earth, Sun, Moon, and Stars; and Taoist longevity elixirs—including how to infuse natural herbs with healing power. Practice time will be complemented by discussion of how to apply this ancient philosophy of health to our modern lifestyle and challenges. Open to beginners and all levels.

Space is limited and pre-registration is required.
